With only a few BRC events remaining before the finals, the challenge is on for the riders to secure their spot in the standings and be amongst the top 25 riders invited to Sylvan Lake, AB in November for the BRC finals. With double points being awarded, the Boneyard General Repair Boyz & Bull presented by Westrans provided the perfect opportunity for riders to push their limits to gain the necessary points - and that's exactly what they did!
On October 3rd, 20 BRC riders made their way to Eriksdale, including all the top 4! Every cowboy knew what was on the line and they didn't hold back. There were 10 succesful rides throughout the night, with the majority of them being over 80 points.

Round 1 saw rides from Jesse Ozirney, Fabian Dueck, Lucas Ozirney, Hayden Mulvey, Marshall Senger, Gilmar Santana, William Barrows, and the highest score of the round - the number 1 BRC rider, Jeremey Maisonneuve, with 85.5 on R8B That's Joe. Eight successful rides all within the long round!
That was very hard, the bull made me work for those points. Its one of them bulls that you just have to trust yourself, never open your hand, and keep working every jump.

As the final Crossfire Bullriding event of the year, the Eriksdale Boyz & Bullz also hosts the finals of the Novice Bullriding series which is a separate division meant to help younger riders get their start in the sport. The season leader coming into the event is Joel Fisk, who was awarded the Season Leader title. The bulls proved too strong for the novice riders this time however, as none of the 5 participants were able to make it to the 8-second buzzer.
Leading into the Championship Round, the returning riders were able to choose their 4-legged opponents. For the first few rides, it looked like the bulls were going to come out victorious until the young Marshall Senger stepped into the chute. On the back of a hand-picked LSB Wide Open, a bull he had previously rode to win in Richer MB, Marshall was able to make the buzzer and scored an 83, moving him into first place. However, it was the rookie sensation Jeremy Maisonneuve who stole the show in the final ride of the night. He conqured LSB Sons of a Junkie for an oustanding 87 points, enough to take him to the top of the leaderboard, earning him the trophy, 800 BRC points, and over $4,000 cash!

I told myself I was going to do it; and if you tell yourself you can do something, manifesting is a real thing - look where we are.

Congrats to Jeremy and all the riders and best of luck in the remaining events leading up to the Urban Dirtworks Bull Riders Canada Finals taking place in Sylvan Lake, AB on November 7 & 8, 2025!
